Arch Marquee Lookbook — Editorial Seasonal Showcase
An infinite arch-topped marquee gallery that drifts seasonal imagery across the page in a slow editorial loop — pilots an interior-design lookbook but the pattern fits any visual portfolio that wants to feel like a quiet, curated exhibition.
Best for: Homepages and portfolio pages where a slow, editorial visual band sets the brand mood before the visitor scrolls into copy or services.
Live preview — scroll inside the frame to see the full page.
What it does
- Infinite drifting marquee — images glide steadily across the screen in a continuous loop so the band feels endless without ever jumping
- Arch-topped image frames — each image sits inside a tall arched frame, giving the row a gallery-wall or chapel-window feel
- Caption beneath each frame — a short caption under each arch names the moment, project, or season for context
- Hover or pause invitation — when the visitor's cursor enters the band, the drift slows or pauses so they can study a single image
- Section framing copy — an eyebrow and a single headline above the marquee position it as a curated lookbook rather than a stock carousel
Best use cases
- Interior designers and stylists — a seasonal lookbook showcase on a studio homepage
- Photographers — an editorial portfolio band introducing a body of work
- Fashion and lifestyle brands — a quiet seasonal collection band above a shop link
- Architects and product designers — a slow showcase of recent projects on a studio page
- Travel and hospitality brands — a curated band of destination moments above a booking section
What you can change with your DNA
When you run this through the remix skill, your CCOS DNA — brand, voice, audience — drives these decisions automatically:
- Colors — slots for page background, arch frame, caption text, eyebrow color, and a subtle accent so the band reads as editorial rather than commercial
- Fonts — two roles: a display or serif for the headline and captions, and a clean supporting font for the eyebrow or supporting copy
- Copy — eyebrow, headline, optional intro line, and one short caption per arch (project name, season, or moment)
- Images — six to twelve curated images sized to the same aspect, each cropped to look intentional inside the arch frame
- Behavior — control the drift speed, the pause-on-hover behavior, and the number of arches visible at a time across breakpoints
